May is Mining Month in British Columbia. The province’s mining sector supports 35,000 jobs and nearly 4,000 businesses, and generates $3 billion in tax revenue each year. BC is also one of the world’s leading suppliers of critical minerals — materials used in EV batteries, medical equipment, and clean energy technology. Mining Month brings that story to communities across the province through mine tours, trade shows, seminars, and public events.
